About the chef

Chef Fernando Dovale has spent many years perfecting his authentic touch by cooking all along the east coast in many different restaurants, including the Hyatt Hotel in Tampa, Florida, the Rockefeller Center’s Rainbow Room in New York City, and most recently at his own restaurant in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Throughout his career as a chef, Fernando has developed quite a following, no matter what style of food he is cooking, but he is happy to get back to his roots of traditional Portuguese and Mediterranean cuisine.
